I have one and it works just fine. It's not meant to cut a large amount of nail at a time. I use it weekly when I give baths. Some of my dogs are fine with it, 2 don't like it at all. Watch the video on their web site and get them used to it gradually. It certainly doesn't take more than one person to use. Mine is not loud at all.
