I have brought cutie and max into hotels that do not and do allow. I believe i was in a Westin once and they told us up front that it was pet friendly. And with the other hotels that do not allow, it was easy to bring them in and out. And we always opted for a room that we can watch our truck from the window( we were moving from central florida to ny). Which ment away from the Check in area/front desk. I have never stayed more than just a night so I don't know about that.
