im potty training too and to my lil boy i usually feed him then when i see him smelling around i take out a wee wee pad and put him on their sure he wants to leave but when its time to go he goes and he has been using it but when i first got him i would take him out in the morning afternoon and @ nite maybe ur pup is getting used to going outside but keep trying u'll get there hope it was of any help!

My smallest and smartest 2lb yorkie uses only the pee pad. Because she is so small I keep her trained on the pee pads...she still has accidents but for the most part when I put her on it...I tell her to go potty and she does... I stay there with her until she goes which is usually in a few seconds...
She also goes outside and still uses the pee pad inside...
