well i personally have that problem. My pupils are larger than normal so they don't retract as much as they should which makes me very sensitive to sun light and driving at night. I would just be mindful of signals he is giving you-if you are outside and it is sunny out and he doens't want to walk or play it could be because the light is too bright and is hurting his eyes. Stick to cloudy days
