The ds lite is the new version of the gameboy advance. It has a screen that you touch with a stylus. You can play gameboy advance games on the ds lite. The gameboy advance is no longer sold but you can find used ones at Gamestop and on ebay. In my opinion, these are better for children under 8.
My 24 year old son is a video game freak and has at least 3 of every system made (just in case one breaks lol).
