Oooops. Guilty. I did it all the time with Maggie, she was small and never barked so I knew I could get away with it. We even stayed in places for several days I just took her in and out with cute dog carriers and if we had to leave her in the room I just put up the "do not disturb" sign. I liked taking her wherever we went and there arent always pet friendly options. We were always very respectful of the room she was potty trained and wasnt a chewer. Its not right, but I loved her and didnt want to leave her.
