I got Reyna when she was 2 months old and she was not crate trained. I live in an apartment so I bought a baby gate and she has the kitchen and laundry area to play and sleep in while I'm at work or at night time. She just didn't want to be alone the first week because she cried and barked the first few nights (yes almost nonstop)...but now she's a little angel at night, I put the gate up and say "Nighty night" and she walks over to her bed =) Just stay strong and don't give in...maybe get some ear plugs for a few nights!
Don't worry...I really was questioning whether or not I even wanted a dog those first few days...but it only gets better and I'd be lost without her now!
