I have heard that the red eyeshine was indicative of a cottony coat. Friday has alot of hair it's fine hair but there is alot of it, but it is in no way cottony. I haven't started wrapping her coat yet but I do keep her in a light oil. I talked to Catherine her breeder after the Indiana show and she told me that Friday will end up breaking color later like her parents did. Nobby and Manda went from black to a dk steel blue shortly after 18 months. So I am going to show Friday in 2 more shows then wait and see if she breaks like they did. With the weather the way it is I am sticking close to home.
