I would suggest speaking to the breeders vet to get accurate information. You could also speak to your vet about it. Usually once a hernia is repaired it is no longer an issue. If there is still a hole after the repair I would want to know if it is going to require any further surgery. The breeder should not mind giving you her vet info so you can address any questions you may have.
