You can feed eggs more often...but this arangement has worked for me and they get a 'balanced' diet.
In addition, they get a variety of veggies, such as: green beans, asparagus, bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, etc...
They also get fruit: organic blueberries (organic is important because pesticides can be absorbed in berries if not) frozen or fresh, pear, apple, banana, etc.... in moderation.
I add flax seed if I'm not feeding fish.
One of my dogs can't eat chicken (allergy) or rice (allergy)---which is why i don't give them that.
But I give them pasta (small rings, usually), potato, sweet potato...

I also give them a multivitamin.
i hate processed food. It seems unnatural. I do like RAW...but can't get myself to give it to them.
hi, i read that you homecook for your yorkies, can i ask you is that all the supplements that you give them, is flax oil and a multi vitamin?
i also cook for sammy, and i was thinking about going to a high quality dog food, because of the supplements, i just cannot afford a nutritionist at this time. i am taking him on tues for bile acid testing and urine testing. so thats going to be a big bill. i am just concerned about the supplements, i dont want to do anything wrong to him. thanks
