 A round of applause for D&D
OMG I'm soo proud of Dougal and Dixie. We had an agility ribbon trial today. Dixie got a clear round and 2nd place in elementary (the easiest course - but it still had two crosses in it!). Dougal was faster but got a penalty - handler error - but he was still third!
Then we had Starters - which is a bit harder! there were loops and a left-hand weave but Dougal had his first clear round and got 2nd place!!!
Dixie went clear but was soo slow she got disqualified. Bless her she'd given EVERYTHING she had in elementary and had nothing left for starters!
But then I got told that I couldn't have the ribbons because there is no micro class. I nearly cried!! They gave me the ribbons for elementary because there was no one else there to claim them but I didn't get the starters ribbon! Dougal beat out border collies for that place!! |
