Definitely, get your pup checked by a good vet!

It's likely to be nothing... or it could still be kennel cough or even allergies.

God forbid, it could be something else. My older dog (+/- 10 year old Cairn) has a hacking dry cough, that he's had for 2 weeks. I brought him to the vet because it wasn't getting better, to have him checked, and it's lung cancer. I don't mean to scare you... it's EXTREMELY rare in dogs.

My point is, you don't know what it is. You can't take the chance of giving an inoculation to a pup whose resistance is lowered by illness. It's better to be safe than sorry!
