I started this when Mika was a baby. We were outside learning pottie and a plane flew over (we are on the flight path to the private airport in Olive Branch), she stopped in mid pee and looked up and followed the plane with her little eyes until it got out of sight.
Plane baby, I said, that's an airplane, people travel on it to other places.
Right then and there I felt like such a fool, as if I she was going to say the word back to me someday like a baby.
