If I were you, I'd check with your vet that performed the surgery. I think it takes a little while....so she may be doing what is normal. I'll be keeping you in my prayers. This happened to my little mini-dachshund in June, however, Annabelle wasn't a candidate for surgery. We had to put her down. So....be thankful your girlfriend's little one could have surgery.
