Never too late to teach. Try the clicker method for older dogs. The clicker can train everything from birds learning to run obstacle courses, cats playing fetch and doing sit-stay, dolphins through hoops, etc...
The clicker method works for these exotic situations, a dog being a little older sure won't be any more difficult. (or difficult at all)
My dog actually perks up when I grab the clicker. It's a fun game! |
