I breastfed my son till he was 10 months and found from about 9 months that he wanted to feed from me less and less..he had hardly ever been fed from a bottle so he went straight to a trainer cup..he basically weaned himself...I don't remember being bitten too often though..so I wish I could help a bit more on that one! I would think she is almost ready to be weaned off the breast
