when my puppy was a baby I kept him in his cosmic pets carrier which I put next to the bed until he was old enough to decide he was not going to sleep on it anymore and wanted to sleep with us.Maybe she is afraid of being squashed while you are sleeping.You could always put a one seater couch in the bedroom for her.
