Bacteria is everywhere so theoretically, dogs could get bacteria from anything. But I feed a Prey Model Raw diet and my dogs have never had any problems with the things I have fed them. Occassionally they might have some loose stools but no more than when they were fed kibble. The health benefits far outweigh the risks in my opinion! Good luck!
