This should be an interesting thread for sure.
Buddy is sweet, loving and a one person dog. Attached to me.
After 4 1/2 yrs he still tries his best to be Alpha. It just never goes
away. With him being a terrier and me being a Taurus he does not
stand a chance in winning. 95% of the time he is a perfect little
dog but there is 5% of the time he can get fresh at the drop of
a hat wanting his own way. Just the other night, after our walk,
I was putting vasoline on his paws, I do this from time to time to
keep them from drying out and he growled at me with a look that
would make you want to pull his ears off! It came from nowhere.
He didn't want to be bothered just wanted to go to sleep.
Of course I won out in the end but he did get fresh with me and
it drives me up the wall WHY?It's in him to be boss and I can't seem
to get rid of it completely. But I love him more than anything.
Heck, who do you know that's perfect anyhow? |
