The information and ratings on that site are based completely on the opinions of the site editors, not long term professional research. It's a great site to use to compare ingredients in various foods, but shouldn't be used as the only source of info when searching for a food for one's dog. Here are a few others that educate more in depth regarding nutritional needs...a much better idea than just picking a food off a list.

Dog Food Review Ratings

The Dog Food Project - How does your Dog Food Brand compare?

Dog's individual needs differ--what may be the highest rated/best match for one dog may not work for the next. People need to research and determine what their individual dogs needs are rather than just blinding picking something that someone gave a high rating to.
