| Hello Patti! xx xxx Hi Patti I used a Tomy one, both parts plug in and have a dial so you can turn it up to pick up smaller sounds. I've never had problems with it 'buzzing' or making any unwanted noise. I'm sure there are better monitors out there - this was very cheap compared to some I've seen (£30 - not sure what that equates to in US dollars) but for a basic model I found it very good.
