When I take her out, where do I put her to pee? Keep a pad on the floor by the nightstand?
She most likely will cry or get restless. Trust me, you will be so tuned into her you will wake up at the slightest noise

I would just take her to where you want her to potty during the day, and put her down on the pad. Make sure you carry her to the spot Also, make sure your crate is little so it's just a sleeping den. I have a sleeping crate (tiny, soft-sided crate) and a daytime crate (larger and plastic). I am so excited for you!
