Aww you are so lucky to have hubby to watch over you, tell him to put a use shirt with your smell at nite when you are gone or where your fur-baby favor spot is, we did this when we left the cats for a week at a pet-hotel they told us to do that so we got our use without wash shirts and there were fine, I have never left the girls alone for too long, so I understand your fear
