I'm not help here much since I don't work, but when my girls where little I use the crate at night and in the day a playpen untill they were potty train then they had the house for themselve, I think Marcerella02 give you a good advice

I will just make sure she eat before you go to work just in case you don't want it to have a hypoglicemic attack or somenthing. Congratulations on your new baby I'm so happy for you
