 hives
My puppy had what I believe were hives too earlier this week. I think it was an allergic reaction to something, I haven't figured out what but I read that it could be to food, insect bites or medication. I doubt its the food because he eats it every day and is fine. I had a problem getting in at the vet too so I put some lanacane (human itch cream) on the bumps that were on his belly after giving him a bath and they went away within the hour. They were causing him to scratch, so I felt like I had to do something for him, but they haven't come back since. He had bumps all over though, while I was bathing him I could see that he had them under his fur, but they all went away after putting the lanacane just on his belly where theres no fur. Let me know what you find out about your yorkies "hives" as I'm no doctor and could be totally wrong about them. |
