Schatzie's ears did not stand up for quite sometime, the tops of her ears were covered in hair. Then her groomer said the same as your vet did. The next week i brought Schatzie back to the groomer and said, "just humor me and shave her ear tops". So, she did and instantly Schatzie's ears popped up!
