Fury is truely an awesome dog! You're doing great with Radar, he's a very nice tribute to not only his breeders, but Linda, and daddy Fury as well. congratulations on his success.

My "loved the sire, bought the daughter" dog has gone on to produce my first homebred Champion, so I have to say I'm pretty darn pleased with her as well...lol I'm looking forward to breeding her this spring with my first CH. Beaux, and hope for something nothing short of magical... here's hoping!

Back to Hungarian purchases by NA people.. I think there are really 2 main reasons why people buy from overseas.. 1. They want a show dog, and no one will sell to them because they haven't done the time, and put for the effort and proven they're worthy of having someone elses blood, sweat and tears put into their hands.. 2..they want a breeding dog with a nice pedigree...and have no intention on showing the dog.. but may have the intent to sell the offspring as "show dogs" or "breeding dogs" or "high priced pets".. which IMHO is taking the easy way out no matter which of the 2 reasons someone has bought imports. I'm sure there are a few who truely love the imported line, but I don't think the majority of cases that's the case.

Nothing worth having is easy.. and you've got to start at the bottom to reach the top.. IMHO.

Becki (who's still about 2 rungs from the bottom.. but hanging on for dear life.. lol)

In turn they made sure from Linda that it was ok to place a wonderful dog in my care because they trusted Preston's judgement I've done right by his breeders and I will always do right! I just love the North American dogs instead of the Hungry lines but of course that is my opinion. I'm just starting to learn the European lines but I still favor Radar's lines mostly so far
