Hi all,
I really need your help guys, I am so worried about my baby I just cannot wait until vet opens, I need some answers / leads.
I had to travel far for work yesterday and had to wake up at 4, I took Humphrey out to do a wee and he did, but i did notice he picked something on the street and when I got to his mouth he had already eaten it. I couldn't see what it was beforehand because it was just soo dark out there.
He was doing fine when I left, had full breakfast (he eats Puppy Hill's Science diet) and was playing around being his silly self.
DH took him out again at 9, and came back home at 2pm. He went pee and poo both times and DH says he was fine.
I came home at around 3.30 and found two tiny puddles on the floor, they weren't urine but something a bit ticker and clear, so I thought he had been playing with stuff and drooled on the floor - I've seen him doing that before- so I just cleaned it up and then noticed he hadn't had his lunch and when I offered him a carrot stick he refused it, then he started kind of choking and he coughed up some clear foamy liquid. I thought it was bile, and the fact that he hadnt had any lunch made me think he was very hungry, so I made him some tender chicken and rice, which he refused, then mashed some carrots which he refused as well and then I noticed he only has one frontal tooth (he is 4.5 months and his teeth are falling). Sooooo I immediately gave him some yogurt, which he devoured. I thought it was just hunger, so we went to bed at around 10 and at 4 am he did it again, and then again at 5.20am... its just a tiny little watery foam and then he is fine, and now he won't even eat yogurt... I have thought about all the possible things which might have caused it and I can only think of whatever he ate yesterday morning that I didn't catch, or the fact that the night before I was removing nail varnish with some remover and once I was done he caught me off guard and licked my toe, but that was waaaay after the removing deal had happened, about 10 minutes... I am soooo worried. Please help... is this normal for teething babies or should I just run to vet's office ASAP???
