Hi, congratulations on the pups you have so far. Is this your first litter? On one note, I'd say it's fairly normal for a pup to be verbal after being born....it's a cold cruel world out here! LOL But on a little more serious note, I must agree with the previous reply; I'd also guess that the new pup is either cold or hungry....or both. See if you can get her to latch onto mom to nurse inbetween birthing the next pup (if there are anymore to come) and also make sure it is warm. Do you have a heating pad in the whelping area?
Please keep us posted on the progress of the pups; their weights, sexes, etc.
If you have any other questions or concerns with the whelp, you may want to post in the breeder's section; there may be more there than can help you also.
