How do you feel about giving him the surgery? If they can remove it will it give him more time? The honest truth of it is gowing ahead with the surgery will at least make you feel you are doing what is medically possible for him. If he were to slip away during surgery then you would always know you tried to treat the condition he had, and he passed away while under the influence of anesthetic so it would be painless. He would not have to suffer from pain down the line until you couldn't take seeing him go through what the disease was doing to him.
The hardest thing about making a decision is you always second guess yourself, and our fur baby's can't tell us what they think. They always look at us with those loving eyes saying,"I love you and trust everything you do for me."
