We took Joey to the trick training class at Petsmart, and we learned how to teach him the basics plus jumping through a hoop, ringing a bell, backing up, high 5, praying, catch, rolling over and playing dead. Most of the tricks are taught using a small treat as a guide. This site has some wonderful tips on training your dog; usually training sections are limited to 5-10 minutes, but done twice a day for best results. This site has some great tips with videos for step by step advice.
