We had the same problem with our Biewers (not our Yorkies) but when they turned 1 it just stopped. They chewed trim, bit furniture and ate parts of our new front deck so we replaced and repainted trim, touched up the furniture and restained/painted the front deck. We tried Bitter Apple...they loved it and seemed to be attracted to it so that was a major flop...catching them in the moment wasn't always possible but when we did we gave a firm 'Stop' or 'No' and that would stop it for the time being. The only thing that really worked was when my husband mixed pepper with a small amount of paint to touch up an area...they never touched that spot again. Yes, we had all of the appropriate toys of all shapes, sizes and textures but nothing can replace the taste of fresh pine!
