Default First post.....Trinity is VERY sick....advice..

Never thought my first post on any forum I frequent would be so sad.

My 3 1/2 yo Yorkie, Trinity who normally weighs 3 lbs 6 oz is down to 2 lbs 14 oz. in a matter of four days.

She has been vomiting and has bloody stool leading up to me taking her in to the hospital. She was admitted 2 days ago for blood work and emergency IV's for dehydration and lack of eating.

The blood work came back today. Diagnosis was pancreatitis....which the vet says is due to her possibly ingesting something she shouldn't have. I am perplexed with what it could have been because she is NEVER out of my sight when she goes outside. ....and inside the house, when I'm not home, she's in the kitchen with nothing but her food and water on a tile floor that is ALWAYS kept debris-free.

Her condition tonight before is very un-interested in her surroundings...but on the bright side, her eyes IMO look a little brighter. The vet said the only up side of today was that she actually made an effort to lick his finger that he had used to put a little food in her mouth.

Sorry about the long explanation, but any and all advice would be appreciated. Thanks for reading....she is my EVERYTHING. It's is especially hard on me right now because my girlfriend and I just called it quits four weeks ago....so this as you might guess, makes this time in my life really difficult.

Here's a pic of my baby........
