 More money than brains?
It stuns me over and over again how people fall for this "beautiful, professionally decorated country home" bla bla bla stuff, and they happily pay Denise far more for her UNREGISTERED junk than they'd be willing to pay for a fabulously well bred champion sired puppy raised in humbler surroundings---NOT less clean or safe, just not as pretty a house or fancy an address. Very few really good breeders can afford beautiful country homes, and I never met one who has the luxury of an on-site groomer. A groomer being there should be a huge red flag saying "high volume brokerage operation." A good breeder's money goes into great dogs and shows, and if there's any left we think about nice things for the house. Wake up people, ask for pedigrees, ask to see the puppies' parents, insist on AKC registration---yes, AKC is the only legitimate registry. |
