Icon2 If you used the USPS.... this might help...

The carrier might have hit the wrong button on his scanner by mistake, meaning to hit "attempted" and hit refused....

When you check the item online it is very limited to what it shows... (on internal computer there is much more info)... but

If you call the PO station where you were sending it... you can get the Clerk in the station to see if the package is going out for another try again... the carrier marks the piece with notations saying... NL for Notice Left or Refused for an actually refusal...

To get the phone number with out having to call the crazy 1800 # you can go onto USPS.COM go to Find Post Office or Zip code... and search the address... then where it says "More Info" if you click that it will give you the phone number... I would start with the Delivery Unit Supervisor first...
