Diagnosing giardia is so hard because positive tests are hard to get and even when you get one, there is really no way of really knowing if that is causing the diarrhea...
We are having diarrhea issues here too but the giardia test was negative. Metronidazole worked fairly well but after stopping, the issue came back. This time on Metro things aren't going well. If it continues after diet change, I guess we will have to do a biopsy.
What meds did your vet give?
