Have her x-rayed at about 50 days to give you and the vet heads up if any of the pups look like they will be too big to deliver. This may give you advanced warning if she will need a c-section.
Try to find an experienced breeder in your area who would be willing to asist you with the whelp. A trained eye is a marvelous thing to have.
After all is said and done, find a new vet.
