He/she is a very "pretty bird"! You probably already know this, but if not its very easy to sex Budgies when they get a little older- the ceres(nostrils) are BLUE for a boy and BROWN for a girl! I also found this extract online

Budgies can be excellent talkers too, my auntie had one when I was a child that had a huge vocabulary, she even taught him to receipt their address in case he ever got free!
