I have their main area in a bedroom in the back because my house is cold (hubby likes it that way
) however I do have another puppy pen I have set up in the living room where they come join the family everyday. Now that they are older though and the room doesnt need to stay as warm I will be moving them in there permanently. You are right though, its best to keep them in an active room so they get used to the hustle and bustle of a family!
