My 8 month old Sadie is doing the same thing. I've had her since she was 3 months old and she has always been trained to go outside. In September I rescued another dog and Sadie started to pee all over my carpet. I usually don't see it happen, but I smell it and it's driving me nuts. I walk around the apartment with Nature's Miracle. I spoke to a trainer who recommended an xpen to confine Sadie to one area. She does fine in there and plays happily, but now she is peeing on the carpet inside the xpen. I don't have enough room to place the pen in my kitchen which has the only tiled floor in the apartment. I am so frusrated and sick of cleaning up pee. Now my male dog, who was completely housetrained, has started marking where Sadie pees. I can't watch her every second and feel pretty hopeless right now. Has anyone thought of checking if the dog has a bladder infection? Any other suggestions? |
