Sounds like good advice so far. I trained mine to the puppy pads cuz it gets too cold for her outside in the fall and winter. Back to basics on that would be to confine also except cover the confined area with the puppy pads and gradually decrease as she gets used to it. To me this is easier on me also cuz I dont have to worry about letting her out . Hope you find the right solution soon.
