Hello -

I know that this will sound like a strange first post (I mainly search and read posts here), but I'll forever be an overprotective mom of my little guy, Cookie. We adopted Cookie about a year and a half ago from the Humane Society; he'd been found dumped in a park in a horrible rain/lightning storm.

Anyway, Cookie is a purebred Yorkie. I'd never really noticed this before, but the skin is dark around and on his penis, although it's also a light pinkish color in places. I never really noticed this before, so it's quite possible that this is simply the color of his skin. He has had a bladder infection before, so I just want to make sure that this is not indicative of any problem. I feed him Natural Planet Organics dog food and try to do all the best for him.

Please let me know if anyone thinks that there could be a problem (or if your dog is naturally darker there as well....just so I know I'm simply crazy).
