Whatever pain meds your vet prescribes, make sure you read the inserts and look it up on line any potential side effects. That way, if you give it to her and notice any affects, you can stop it right away and not have any problems.

There are some uncommon side effects on some pain meds that can happen, just be pre-armed with the knowledge and it should be ok. I'm assuming she's had or will have the pre-op blood screening?

I forgot to add, that just like people, meds can affect furbabies different ways. What works on one may not on another
