Ugh, I spent 5hrs cleaning ALL my carpets today, (not an easy task with a demanding 9month old baby), with a odor eliminator shampoo. Kayla for some reason has decided that the kitchen floor, back hallway and the landing are for pottying. Doesn't matter how many times I let her out she will NOT go to the toilet outside.

On the plus side she will not go to the toilet in the front room which is the only room that Amelia is allowed to play in.
So now all the carpets are clean and Kayla is confined to the front room with with us now all day and not allowed free run of the house. I'm hoping that by making it so she can't get to the areas she likes to go she will start going outside.
I'm not sure what to do at night though, she has a crate which she goes in if I'm out because she is a chewer. If you put her in the crate and you're home that she howls... the crate isn't really an option at nighttime because of Amelia being woken and I've only just got her settled to sleeping through the night again after her last teething episode and I'm not prepared to risk waking her.
So I'm at a lose now....
Any opinions and advice on any area of retraining a 8month old is greatfully appreciated and taken into account.
