I think using the potty pads are what made my dog like this. I never used them with my older dog, and he NEVER just pees in the house. If he does, it's because he REALLY needed to go or he's sick. Reese will be walking in from outside and stop to pee on the carpet on her way in!

I've been crating her when I can't watch her and that seems to be helping. I also give her liver treats when she pottys outside and make a huge deal about it. She'll start running, jumping and wagging her tail as if to say, "Look I pottied outside!!! I'm a big girl!!!" LOL!
