Great post and advice Archie.

I think this is just part of owning a Yorkie just when you think they get it you probably will have an accident; so don't give up. Just keep at it and it is probably best to pad train because of the weather there. Ours use the pad mostly and only pees outside when she comes out of her crate after an extended period of time. If we are hanging out at the house, she will go find her pad when she needs to go. Don't get me wrong I still find boo boos, but I just have to let it go and that is hard for someone OCD. Which will probably be hard for you too being military disciplined.

I too have never had a Yorkie or small dog before and ours is 11 months now and we are thinking of getting another. Now we have the fever.
