I went through this a couple of weeks ago with my kitten. I missed him like crazy. My Malt had a dental a couple of months ago and I would have been lost if they'd kept him overnight. My only advice is to keep yourself busy so the time goes by faster. Go shopping or to a movie and then have dinner out.
