Another piece of info I just read - Because Yorkie ears stand up, they release heat since they aren't close to the body and apparently dog ears maintain the body's temperature...so as Ronylynn said, if the ears are cold - time to bundle up!
It looks like I'll be investing in some booties this winter for Ella Bean!
