Hey Guys I wanted to see what I could do for Chino.......he is barking and when he finally calms down enough he sounds like a harley for atleast 5 minutes. He barks at the doorbell, leaves falling, knock on the door, someone coming in the house........the doorbell is a issue because it takes a good 10 to 15 mins. to calm him down. I have tried to retrain him by offering him a treat to bark on command, to putting him in his bed.........but still nothing. I also tried the ringing of the doorbell and offering him a treat if he does not bark also of course he gets no treat.
So what do you recommend.............also he barks at the fireplace,and this past weekend I bought a MR & MRS Santa and he flipped out. He did not shut up until I put them back in their box. I have to have MR & MRS Santa, I waited like forever to get them.....maybe just as long as I waited for Chino. HELP ME I LOVE HIM SO MUCH, we all do. My husband laughs at him since he calms down enough to sound like a harley.
