He is just adorable, and you are so lucky to be getting him. Did you see the mom and dad or know any history of previous litters? That would help, but not be a guaranty of size. Just as with Yorkies, they can have growth spurts at different ages, but many slow down around 6-8 months.

I have a Morkie, Meika, who is 5 months old and weighs 6 lbs. Her mom is 6# and dad is 4# and pups from the 2 previous litters were said to be between 4-6#. Her color is more redish brown, which I see less often. I also have a Yorkie that is 7 months, and 7#, and like the previous poster said the Morkie is shorter and stalkier.

There are lots of Morkies here on Yorkie Talk. They are wonderful furbabies, just as their originating Yorkies and Maltese.
